Our cold climatic cold smoke systems function as “enclosed systems” which means we condition the circulating air. Because of this system, they require only a small volume of fresh air and can be operated independently of the weather with low expenditure of energy. Installed difference temperature controllers enable the use of external air for cooling.
The cold smoking process is achieved using our Circo Smoke System®. This is environmentally friendly and the energy consumption of the smoking process is significantly reduced when compared with open systems.
Our air conditioning units used in the climatic rooms are individually designed to suit the customers requirements in question and are manufactured from stainless steel giving an extremely durable and low-maintenance design.
Air distribution ducts and return ducts are individually designed for each application. All food products in the chamber are evenly smoked and matured by means of perfectly balanced airflow conditions in the chamber. Our various sizes of sawdust smoke generators and friction smoke generators are utilised for the smoking process (see smoke generators).
The special configuration of the smoke nozzles prevents the spraying of tar onto the food products.
Our cleaning in place system enables you to clean the air conditioning unit, air distribution ducts, return ducts and smoke generator completely.
The proven UNIGAR® systems are utilised for cold smoke chambers from 1 to 6 trolleys. Because of the modular design, larger chambers for up to 60 trolleys can be welded together, so that the stainless steel modules are steam and smoke leak proof. The climatic room equipment can also be installed into a purpose built brick room in a customers factory.
We can offer customers engineering and technical advice, early on in the planning phase and can present customers with recommended configurations in accordance with their requirements.
