The CE45 Cat5e Economiser, used in pairs at each end of a cable run, allows 4 pair cable to bedivided in two separate twisted pair data signal sockets. They are only appropriate if, to transmit data, 2 pairs are required. By plugging one economiser direct into a wall outlet and another intoa patch panel at the other end; one cable run of 4 twisted pair can be used to transmit 2 sets of data signals.
