The CE45VDVoice & Data Cat5 Economiser, used in pairs at each end of a cable run, allows 4 pair cable to be dividedin two separate twisted pair data signal sockets. They are only appropriate if, to transmit data, 2 pairs are required. By plugging one economiser direct into a wall outlet and another into a patchpanel at the other end; one cable run of 4 twisted pair can be used to transmit voice and data signals.
