Mirka Hiomant is an Aluminium Oxide Grain noted for its durability and edge wear resistance due to its unique Semi Open Coating and Resin over Resin bond to the paper backing material. Finished in the colour Yellow and available in Coarser Grits suited to sanding down Putty Seams and sanding wood by hand where, finer grits are most commonly used for sanding fine wooden surfaces. Key to the long term performance of the Mirka Hiomnat product is its unique backing material, making these abrasive sandpaper rolls not only durable and long lasting but, the material also prevents clogging through the effective removal of surface dust; resulting in a good sanding result all round. Mirka Hiomant sandpaper is supplied by Noble Abrasives in 50 Metre Rolls and mostly used by carpenters, joiners, painters and decorators, even artists and those finishing off high quality timbers or woodwork which is on display and/or heavily used. Available in Paper Rolls Sizes 100mm x 50m in Grits 60 – 180, thereafter 115mm x 50m in Grits 40 – 240.
