Mirka Sica Open belts have a completely anti static backing material; and layers that limit dust loading, preventing clogging and inevitably lengthening product lift span. It is recommended specifically for sanding soft, resin rich wood types as the Mirka Sica Open uses silicon carbide grains, producing a smoother scratch pattern and higher surface gloss level than those that use aluminium oxide based sanding materials.
