Cage Nuts, Steel Zinc

Cage nuts have both the advantages of fast installation and the strength of a steel nut which floats within the spring steel cage to assist in screw alignment. There are two common cage nut designs, TYPE S – Single Bar Design and TYPE R – Relieved Cage Design – which has 2 side tabs instead of one long one. M3, M4, M8 and M10 cage nuts will usually be ‘Type R’ and M5 and M6 will usually be ‘Type S’. Both are pictured. We can also supply cage nuts for the following less popular hole sizes: 5.3mm AF , 8.3mm AF , 14.0mm AF
