There are often cases where the existing mains pressure is inadequate to ensure supply to people in high rise apartments, hotels, industrial factories or outbuildings as water companies only have a responsibility to supply 9L/min at 1 bar pressure to the boundary of a property.
Booster sets are a means of increasing the flow and pressure available to users, which in this case was a camping site needing extra pressure to supply a shower block.
They needed to boost water pressure to 11 showers and 5 sinks and wanted a compact system. They originally wanted only 1 pump, but after discussing with our technical team and relaying the importance of a secondary back up pump we supplied a twin booster pumps with integrated Variable speed drive to alter duty according to the desired flow and pressure needed.
The integrated pressure vessel helps ensure that for small amounts of flow, such as during sink usage that the pumps do not start up unnecessarily.
The pump unit was supplied tested and delivered in under 2 weeks.
