The pumping action and operation of the barrel pumps is quite simple, the pump tube is inserted into the opening of the container (bunghole) which typically is a 2 inch aperture, once the pump tube is immersed in the liquid the pumping action is done by the rotation of an impeller which is fitted at the bottom of the pump, the rotating impeller pushes the liquid up, towards the pump tube outlet and out of the discharge side of the pump. There are several pump tube lengths each designed specifically for the various drums and containers available on the market, the most common are 1000 mm for 205 l drums, 1200 mm for IBC's and 700 mm for smaller containers - 25 litre jerry cans, 100 litre tanks etc. The FLUX F430 PP-100/50 has been specifically designed for IBC's and tanks transfer applications, this pump is available with a variety of electric motors in both single and 3-phase, these pumps can also be supplied as a complete pump kit containing a discharge hose, hand nozzle and compression glands depending on the specific model, carrying handles, fume glands and foot strainers are also available upon request. These heavy-duty pumps are suitable for low viscosity, non-flammable liquids, fitted with a 50 mm impeller the F430PP-100/50 barrel type pump is capable of achieving a max. pressure of 3.2 bar. Design Features/Benefits • Can be used with a hand nozzle or pump against a close valve. (Only Temporarily)• Mechanically sealed - prevents any liquid entering the internal tube section.• Supplied with steel cored internal tube for added stability (Extra bearing support).• Suitable for continuous operation• Specifically designed for IBC's and tanks• Larger 50 mm impeller for higher head applications Typical Fluids: • Hydrochloric acid• Boric acid• Sulfuric acid• Citric acid• Lactic acid• Phthalic acid• Sodium hydroxide• Potassium hydroxide• Ammonia water Motors Available & Capacity: Commutator Motors: F 458-1 Flow rate max. 105 l/min Discharge head max. 32 mwcF 457 / F 457 EL Flow rate max. 105 l/min Discharge head max. 32 mwc3-Phase Gear Motor: F 414 Flow rate max. 100 l/min Discharge head max. 27 mwc Accessories: • Trigger Guns/Nozzles• Fume Glands• Compression Glands• Foot Strainers• Carrying Handles• Hoses
