They are extremely robust and a very useful tool to have on site for any slurry dewatering applications. This series is equipped with a ductile iron agitator to stir slurries and allow easy passage through the pump without clogging. There are various models within this range with solids handling capability up to 54mm. The largest model within this range is capable of achieving flow rates up to 150m³/hr and heads up to 21m. These slurry submersible pumps are installed with an abrasion resistant impeller, chrome steel wear ring (Models AF-610/615) and silicon carbide double mechanical seals for abrasion resistance Common applications for the AFG sump pump include; dewatering involving sand and gravel, coal plants, silt removal, civil engineering, storm water sewers, dewatering of newly dug tunnels or ground works, general dewatering of areas containing solids and applications requiring agitation and removal of solids from sump floors.
