Despite their weight and portability, they are extremely robust and a very useful tool to have on site for any dewatering applications. There are various models within this range with solids handling capability up to 7mm. The largest model within this range is capable of achieving flow rates up to 18m³/hr and heads up to 15m. These dewatering submersible pumps are compact and narrow meaning they can fit down narrow wells and are useful in areas where water levels are shallow. The GD version is designed for general site applications, this is constructed with an aluminium motor frame and seal bracket that is lightweight but has the added benefit of providing additional cooling for the motor when water passes through it. The GDR version is more specialist and capable of pumping water as low as 1mm, this is an extremely useful sump pump to have where there is shallow water or flat surfaces such as roofs or anywhere that water does not naturally gather. Common applications for the GD sump pump include; civil engineering, storm water sewers, dewatering of newly dug tunnels or ground works, general dewatering of areas containing solids, site applications requiring a mobile pump unit. Common applications for the GDR sump pump include; dewatering of swimming pools, ponds, basements, residential buildings and commercial buildings.
