We can build our sets to match your dimensional requirements and provide custom drawings. Our bespoke tank booster sets are manufactured with WRAS approved glass reinforced polyester tanks that comply with BS 13280:2001 standards. All supplied tanks are installed with a raised ball valve chamber and ABGAP. Tank mounted booster sets compensate for reductions in system pressure, they observe and increase demand when required and then maintain a constant pressure. Example installations include; domestic properties, commercial buildings, hotels, hostels, agriculture, district heating, nursing homes, laboratories, leisure parks and marine vessels. Depending on requirements and space limitations, the tank can be mounted in various configurations. It can be mounted above the pumps for space saving, this is very useful for small plant rooms where space is limited. Another option is for the set to be manufactured with bolted metal framework, this feature allows for the set to be dismantled before it arrives on site, the set can then be carried in pieces to the plant room and then reassembled, this is very useful where access space is limited. If space is not an issue, then the set can be manufactured with the tank mounted on the side and the complete set bolted to a powder coated baseplate, this is a more cost-effective solution. The pumps can be constructed from either stainless steel 304 or 316 and are fully WRAS approved. They can be supplied in either horizontal or vertical configuration, either option is compact. The system can be manufactured with various optional components, including; press control, pressure vessel and inverter drive. Other bespoke pump sets with up to 6 pumps and other accessories are available on request. The optional variable speed drive allows for full control of flow rate and pressure. It varies the motor speed depending on system requirements at any given time, while still maintaining a constant system pressure. By reducing or increasing the motor speed to match the system requirements, significant power and cost can be saved. This is since the pump only produces the required flow rate and pressure at that point in time, rather than constantly running at full capacity. The frequency drive is mounted on the discharge pipework and comes complete with LCD display to provide the operator with information on the system parameters. The pumps can be operated in duty, assist or standby modes, they are programmed to run in staged cascade mode as pressure and flow rate demands increase.
