RC Series Scubic Miniature Diaphragm Pump - Sampling Pump Apllication

The RC Scubic Series is a Minitature Diaphragm pump with 3/8" Connections designed for applications where a pump may be integrated as part of a machine. The unit is designed to be controlled remotely via an external mounted PLC and Solenoid Valves, controlled delivery of air is injected into each diaphragm separately. Air is injected via two separate air lines feeding into each side of the pump via the connections on its central block. This design differs from normal AOD Pump construction as it is built without a central air exchanger, meaning there is only a shaft within the housing. An external PLC which is required for successful operation controls the speed, number of cycles, switching point and volume of air transferred into the pump during each cycle, ensuring the metered output is inline with process requirements. The RC Series is designed for controlled output of a liquid within a metering or dosing applications commonly found within liquid machines within the packaging industry. Typical fluids used with this pump include Inks, Chemicals, Glues & Adhesives, Liquid Slurries containing solid particles, Gels, Resins, Fuels, Oils and Grout. The accuracy of the pump is determined by the volume in each chamber and they are often used in conjunction with flowmeters in applications requiring a high dosing accuracy. Based on the same design of our existing boxer design where diaphragms can be supplied in a variety of materials including NBR, Santoprene, EPDM, Hytrel and PTFE, with the casing manufactured in a variety of plastics, ensuring suitability with a wide range of process fluids. This range of pump is truly versatile having the ability to handle viscosities up to 20000cp, and solid passage up to 0.5mm making it suitable for handling a vast range of fluids that are far beyond the capabilities of other pump types. It also has a low shear pumping action making it suited for any fluids where inappropriate handling may cause a change to a fluids consistency. This diaphragm pump is Atex zone 2 as standard which can be upgraded to Zone 1 making this pump suitable for operation in the most hazardous of environments. The SMINI is also able to operate in high humidity environments which may cause issues for pumps fitted with electric motors. The RC Scubic AOD pump is able to run dry for long periods and is capable of self-priming up to 3m vertically from dry, but when wetted can prime up to 9.5M. The flow rates from this diaphragm pump can be varied very easily altered allowing the operator to control flow rates precisely. This unit can achieve flow rates up to 17L/min.
