The Brother TD-4520TN is a superb, hard wearing, economic to use, desktop label printer. The printer can print onto paper and synthetic (polypropylene, vinyl, polyester etc) labels by using an ink ribbon or it can be used in 'direct thermal' mode using direct thermal (heat sensitive) labels that do not require an ink ribbon.  Unlike cheaper alternatives this printer is a very solid and robust unit that will last for many years.  The well thought out design is excellent and makes it very easy to use. 

Larger 300 metre long ink ribbons can be used with this printer reducing the 'cost per label' price!  You can also use the Brother TD External Roll Holder (Part Number:PARH001) to hold large rolls of labels at the back of the printer to reduce label costs - The larger the roll the less the price per label!  The printer is 300dpi (dots per inch) and offers superb, high definition, sharp print quality on both paper and synthetic labels.

Ethernet Network adapter is fitted as standard and the printer also has USB and serial connectivity.
