The market for variable speed drives has changed dramatically over the past years, with many companies changing their mechanical and hydrostatic variators over to Inverters. However, many Companies are still limited to tight budgets, and they know that changing over to inverters will save them money in the long term, but their importance at the moment is to keep the factory running and keep production going. Where do they turn when they have a factory line that has gone down? The gearbox is old, but it has always been trustworthy. Maybe spare parts are no longer available?
