As 2015 approaches, we would like to thank all of our customers for their support during 2014; we really look forward to working with you all again in 2015. We see more opportunities approaching for Novacast to become the top supplier of fully finished castings in the UK. Our customer base is increasing in several sectors, but especially valves. Our UK foundry has been running at full capacity for most of 2014, manufacturing for mainly UK customers. We feel that new investment is now required in our sand reclamation system, to ensure we can remain competitive, but also recycle as much sand as possible, to have less of an effect on the environment. We will be looking at expansion of our sand production; this will involve some detailed planning over the first six months of 2015 Our die casting section is now running well, but more work is needed to increase the order book. We will be investing in new staff in key areas, some internal promotions are planned. Additions will be in the following areas: Appointment of a senior position in top management, seen as a vital key to future planning. Appointment of an Assistant Quality Manager, to help improve QA across the company with an aim on UKAS accreditation. Administrator for the import sales. A skilled foundry moulder. A Store man.
