- Air / Propane Broad Flame Burner #4

Air / propane broad flame burners provide a wide soaking heat flame shape and the flame is more likely to wrap around pipes whihch makes the burners suitable for applications such as brazing joints, soldering joints, warming  articles, warming larger diameter heat shrink sleeve to seal cable joints. The #4 broad flame burner would be ideal for the soldering of 15mm central heating copper pipe joints and of course many more applications.
As with all air / propane burners when set correctly the maximum flame temperature will be 1900 Celsius, the volume of heat available increases with nozzle size, the #4 nozzle is the smallest broad flame nozzle and consumes 260 grams of gas per hour.
The other burner sizes in the range are #5, #6, #7 & #8 plus there s also smaller needle point flame nozzles, #1, #2 & #3 designed where the small concentrated heat is required.
The #4 broad flame burners would normally be used with the 50mm long neck or the 200mm neck but may of course be fitted to the longer necks..
