These Butters MIG welders are manufactured in England using locally sourced laser cut machine panels which ensures accuracy and good build fit up.  As standard the machine is supplied with 200mm Dia rear wheels however there are larger wheel options if your work environment dictates.

These PowerWeld 460 Mig welders work with a wide range of wire sizes from 0.8 to 2.4mm to help match this wide operating range the PowerWeld MIG welder has an equally wide range of power adjustment this is to ensure your welding requirements may always be met.  The welder provides 30 amperage positions to be sure to match for your welding needs.  The welding current is set via 3 coarse settings each having 10 fine settings which makes this machine simple to set and adjust.
In line with the no compromise build quality the transformer and choke are only wound with copper, the large size of the transformer ensures this PowerWeld 460 can deliver 400 Amps with a 60% duty cycle at 40C. 
Should you push this machine so hard that you put it into thermal overload the welder has dual overload protection.  To ensure consistent setting the front panel has a digital volt & ammeter.

The 4 roll wire drive system will feed 0,8 to 2,4mm wires at up to 24 m per minute to ensure this is possible the welder has a heavy duty powerfeed unit with a large motor to ensure consistent wire feeding.
Each wire drive roller has two different size grooves and may simply be reversed to change the wire size.
The wire drive takes a 15 kilo reel and comes with feet as standard but may be ordered with 50mm casters and wheels allowing the wire drive to be manouvered easily into position as required.  The wire drive is fitted as standard with a 3m interconnect, a longer interconnect may of course be ordered where required.
When you don't require the wire drive to be separrate it may of course be swivel mounted on top of the power unit.
Controls include wire speed, burnback, inch, gas purge and latch.

The power unit trolley takes a full size cylinder.
