DM0301 - 1x0.92m Heavy Duty Welding Blanket

Welding Blanket - Heavy Duty 1100°C

1m x 0.92m welding blanket. 
This heavy duty welding blanket is made with silica to give it a remarkable 0.6mm material thickness and yet offers heat protection up to 1100°C. Because the material is so thin it remains soft and flexible making it ideal for car garages carrying out body repairs through to heavy industry protecting against high temperature heat sources. Thanks to the silica content this welding blanket is particular good at providing a screen which offers a lower risk of scratching and/or marking paintwork compared to standard fibreglass blankets.  

Additional uses for this particular material includes being used as thermal wrap on exhaust systems. The same would apply for other hot items that may need to be wrapped.
