GB0021 - European Cutting Nozzle ANME-6 HA311 I.C. S80 H8290 AGN

A general purpose hand cutting tip designed to work with Oxy / Acetylene. The longer length compared to the standard ANM helps to promote an improved backfire resistance and the narrower tip provides an improved cut line visibility. The ANME is 88mm in length with a 30 degree 3 seat cone and consists of 6 pre-heats.
The ANME-6 is the extended version of the ANM-6. The ANME-6 is 88mm long whereas the ANM-6 is 76mm long.
The ANME used to be the standard nozzle, however BOC did a cost cutting excercise and took 1/2" out of the middle of the cutting nozzle hence the ANM & ANME "E" for extended was born. The ANME range was originally available in both 4 and 6 pre-heat variations, however the 4 pre-heat version was dropped through lack of sales. Having a well made nozzle with good turn down ratios allows the heat to be reduced when required.
These nozzles have a body / barrel diameter of 15mm (smaller than the ANM-6)

Safety Information
For your safety and to extend the useful life of your gas equipment, when cutting more than 150mm thick mild steel at least two standard 8kg acetylene cylinders should be manifolded together with a Noz-Alls 3-way Cylinder Adaptor (See related products). The possibility exists to cut for upto 5 minutes in any consecutive half hour period so long as the cylinder is between 3/4 and 1/4 full.
