PHT - "Pepper Pot" heating head
These are the oxy/propane alternative to the AHT heating nozzles, less heat output than the acetylene version however when more heat is required the Super Heating range should be used. The 3 sizes in the PHT heating nozzle range provides the convenience and cost effectivness of being able to use the same equipment whilst operating with oxy/propane. Type 3 or Type 5 shank with the acetylene heavy duty mixer and the copper AHT neck need to be used to atain the flow. It is important that the cheap brass AHT #25 heating necks are not used, the copper neck is designed as a heat sink to conduct heat away from the PHT (AHT) so the nozzles function correctly and safely.
