Rent free Aluminium welding gas - AL50 for MIG and TIG
Hobbywelds original size cylinder filled with a 50:50 blend of gas designed specifically for welding thicker sections of aluminium. When welding 8mm and over the introduction of helium gives you an increase in arc temperature enabling you to weld more easily. AL50 is also suitable for welding non-ferrous materials like copper, titanium and their alloys.
If you are TIG welding stainless steel 3-10mm then you can also use AL50 for this purpose.
With this mix of gases you will notice that everything is much quicker and as such production times are reduced.
