Your Omega 550 S may be updated with new programs via an SD card, updates are free for life.
Options such as "DUO Plus" enable TIG-like weld appearance and better control of weld pool
Migatronic welding torches feature "MIG-A Twist" which allows the neck to be positioned at various angles plus full control of the welding current with the optional onboard control.
The software package and shielding gas control which is termed IGC (Intelligent Gas Control) is one of the key optional features which provide for large-scale gas savings whilst ensuring optimal gas shielding.
