PNM-9 Nozzle Mix Cutting Nozzle - All sizes available PNM-9 is the standard oxy / propane hand cutting nozzles for use in the 18/90 cutter or NM250. As the name suggests the nozzle has 9 heating flames. Oxy / propane nozzles consume much greater quantities of oxygen when compared to oxy/acetylene ANM nozzles. Four volumes of oxygen are required to burn one volume of propane plus the oxy / propane flame is not able to impart its heat as quickly as oxy / acetylene. The restriction to acetylene flow does not apply for propane and this can be a useful feature even though much greater quantities of oxygen are required. Noz-Alls PNM-9 cutting nozzles have been produced to our own drawings to provide you with the highest quality PNMs available. Our nozzles have been designed to last longer and provide improved mixing plus improved safety with a zero back pressure design so although our nozzles may be slightly more expensive than cheap copies you will ultimately profit from a good quality nozzle in not having to buy replacement tips as often, there are operational advantages as well in terms of efficiency of process benefits being able to cut efficiently and with less secondary operations. With a seat type designed to fit our NM250 torches and an overall length of 72mm this nozzle is ideal as a general purpose hand cutting nozzle if you wish to cut with Oxy / Propane.
