Gas Economiser for Shielding Gases
Cut your gas costs, Argon based shielding gases for MIG & TIG welding are expensive especially when you waste much of the gas without any reason. Often many welders do not realise they could save so much gas / money by using so much less gas. The gas economiser prevents the unwanted initial surge of gas associated with a traditional regulator, when the MIG trigger is pulled the solenoid valve opens and the backpressure delivers a surge of sheilding gas which is a complete waste. Fitting the gas economiser to an outlet point on a pipeline drop or on the outlet of a cylinder regulator will prevent the wasted surge of gas. For welders with frequent stop starts the savings are greatest and these units will pay for themselves in 6 months then the money you save is extra profit. The flow adjustment is only possible with a key - to remove the plug - then a screw driver to adjust the required flow, once set the plug is replaced and locked in position so the flow cannot be increased.
