Gas Equipment Cutting Set for use with Oxy / Propane. This set contains all gas equipment you need to be able to cut steel from 3mm through to 75mm of mild steel with oxygen & propane. Additional nozzles are available to cut up to 250mm with the same equipment. Top quality oxygen and propane regulators manufactured by GCE, German manufactured flashback arrestors tested and approved by BAM manufactured to BS EN ISO 5175-1, Hose assemblies which are assembled using HCV manufactured to BS EN ISO 5175-2 along with high flow fittings manufactured to BS EN 560 & BE EN 1256 the blowpipe (torch) with this cutting set is the superior Excalibur NM250 which is built to last being better than most other similar looking cutting torches. To complete your gas equipment set you also get the following top quality accessories:- Triple flint spark lighter Superior nozzle tip cleaner set Combination spanner Uvex shade 5 comfortable goggles Your gas equipment consists of:- A) GCE oxygen regulator single stage 2 gauge 0 to 10 bar outlet pressure - Side inlet standard 230bar bullnose inlet fitting for use with all standard side outlet hand wheel cylinders. B) GCE propane regulator single stage 1 gauge which indicates the outlet pressure, from 0 to 4 bar - Side inlet standard LPG bullnose with left hand nut - inlet fitting for use with all standard side outlet hand wheel LPG cylinders. C & D) Top quality German flashback arrestors for oxygen and fuel gases (within the rated pressures). Simple cartridge FBA with 3 safety features, non-return valve to prevent back feeding into the gas supply, temperature actuated failsafe cut-off valve - only actuated by continued internal burning or a fire surrounding the FBA plus of course the sintered flame quenching element which extinguishes the flame (limited to the working gas pressures). E & F) Hoses 10mm bore x 10m long with correct fittings to ensure minimal flow restriction. Blue hose for oxygen and orange hose for propane. G) Excalibur NM250 cutting blowpipe, sometimes referred to as an 18 x 90 cutter. The Excalibur NM250 has many advantages over standard similar looking torches. Excalibur pre-heat control valves have solid stainless steel valve spindles instead of brass, the advantage of using stainless steel is that the stainless steel does not bind when running in the brass body which means that you retain the ability to adjust the flow correctly and accurately for much longer, Unseen until you take the cutting valve apart is the double "O" ring on the cutting valve plunger which ensures the valve remains leak free. The cutting oxygen valve is designed to have a proportional flow control which allows you to bleed-in your cutting oxygen flow which makes cutting easier and quicker to achieve. The Excalibur NM250 has been built to last as the torch tubes are thicker in section, as is the brass torch handle along with the torch head, not to mention the cutting lever and lever lock button even something as simple as the inlet connections have been designed to be replaced should they be damaged.
