Welding Glass for Passive Helmets
If your helmet is a solid state all the time then this is known as a passive helmet. All the replacement glass parts can be found on this page. As there is many different sizes of lens you will need to meaure your current lens to ensure that the correct size is bought.
The next part of the process is knowing which shade level you wish to have. If you know the shade, brilliant. If not - there should be a number at the top of bottom of the glass on one side. It is normally preceeded with "Shade" or "DIN" and then the number. Others may just have the number.
Once you have decided on the above then all that is needed is the quantity.
