The two gates show the before and after of the shot blasting process. The cleaning process removes paint, rust, grease, corrosion and dirt leaving the surface clean with a well etched surface suitable for powder coating or wet spraying. Most metalwork that is shot blasted requires coating within 4 hours, depending on the humidity, in order to seal the bare surface from oxidation and the initiation of corrosion.
