It should be used at the first sign of ant activity – normally in early spring.  To use, you simply need to watch where the ants appear and then apply a few drops of the liquid, preferably in the late evening, to a non-absorbent surface, near to the ant run.  Do not disturb feeding ants as it is essential they take the bait back to the nest .  Top-up the bait every day until ant activity ceases.   An effective dose is normally built up within the colony in 7 ~ 10 days, depending on size of the colony and frequency of feeding.
