We were asked if we could design a floor standing unit that would display a securely held poster, whilst being noticeable from a distance as well as being moveable. After some initial concept designs, the client decided on a monolithic floor totem that had a lot of presence in such a big open planned space (St Pancras Station concourse). We designed the unit to use our standard locking poster cases to keep the cost down. The chassis had locking castors hidden under a skirted base which gave a floating appearance but allowed for easy manoeuvrability.

Our approach and process with the Network Rail customisation project:

• Mild steel construction, all powder coated finish
• Matching powder coated locking poster cases on both sides
• Hidden castors for manoeuvrability
• 10 off manufactured and delivered to St Pancras Station, London
