To demonstrate their forward looking approach to packaging machine design and resposiveness to the marketplace, Meypack, have recently developed and supplied a twin track tray packing solution for the Hipp Company. Meypack twin lane tray packing For the production facilities in Austria, Meypack installed a double lane, high speed VP 530-2 SW 90 TM 60-2 tray-shrink wrapper. The machine packs jars and glass bottles containing baby food and children’s food into various sized packs. Depending upon the chosen task, the products can be packed in trays with or without film as well as just in film as multi-packs. Due to the large number of different products being packed on this machine, the frequently necessary machine changeovers have been simplified as much as possible. Out of consideration for the environment, particular attention was placed on an energy efficient shrink tunnel. As a result, this shrink tunnel is not powered by electricity, as is ususally the case, but rather by gas.
