The new SN FM 415 pouch packing machine

Large pouch outputs with liquid products have failed so far because at high production speeds the product spills over and contaminates the seal surfaces. A perfect seal was, therefore, not always possible. The new SN FM 415 fills and seals more than 200 StandUp pouches per minute, size 110 x 210,5 mm, with 340 g of tomato sauce, hot filled and without overspilling effect. The FM 415 is a further development of the 10-station rotary filler presented in the Spring of 2011 by SN. Through a new development, the overspilling of the liquid at maximum output is reduced to a minimum. The filling dosage is designed as a Quadro flow meter with two filling stations and fills 4 pouches at the same time. All seals are double sealed and cooled, so that seal integrity of all produced pouches is guaranteed. The dosage is prepared for CIP (clean in place) and can thus automatically be sterile cleaned without any residue. The entire machine is built according to SN wash-down standards, which means: made of stainless steel, all openings are waterproofed to allow the machine to be cleaned with a water hose after foaming.
