Multiblend MB005 Powder Blender The MB005 is ideal for applications such as sample blending, formulation development and even very small scale manufacturing. It is ideal for blending both powders and granules. The compact design of the MB005 enables it to be used on a bench top or it can be mounted on a special trolley for added mobility. The MB005 blender has a stainless steel frame and outer case and so it is ideal for use in hygienic GMP areas. The MB005 has the following features as standard: - Made from stainless steel - Variable speed 3 to 30 rpm - HMI controls (displays blend time remaining and blending speed) - See-through, interlocked safety guard - CE Mark - Comprehensive Operator and Maintenance Manual MB005 blending a 3 litre V shell V-shell being attached to an MB005 blender Container Clamp The blending container is securely held to the blender drive unit by means of a hand operated clamp. Quickly and easily remove one blending container and replace it with another. The MB005 can handle any shape of blending container including: drums, IBCs, double-cones or V-shells (these are also known as Y Cones or Vee shells) Hand operated clamp. Blending containers are easy to attached and remove Suitable for all container shapes Blend with containers of any shape and any size (1 to 5 litres). All blending containers are quickly and easily interchanged. Blending Containers The MB005 blender can handle any shape of blending container Adjustable Clamp The Adjustable Clamp is designed to work with all Mini-Drums from 1 litre up to 5 litres. The sides of the clamp are easily adjusted to securely hold the mini-drum during blending. The Adjustable Clamp holds the Mini-drum at an angle of 25° from the vertical axis. The trolley is fitted with a metal castor to ensure that it is earthed at all times ATEX Rated MB005 Operator Controls The MB0005 is supplied with easy to use HMI Controls as standard. HMI features include: 2 line LCD control panel Allows the operator to input blend parameters such as blend time and blend speed Provides the operator instructions, machine status and an error message HMI Operator Controls Panel Moving your Blender The MB005 blender is too heavy to be carried by one person.
