Maximum Soundproofing with Polarwall

Recent pre-completion tests carried out on a Polarwall development has illustrated Polarwall's excellent acoustic rating. The wall tested comprised a 206mm concrete core surrounding by 50mm of XPS to either side. Plasterboard was mechanically fixed to the wall. The results were well in excess of the levels required by the current Building Regulations. RMP Acoustic Consultants who carried out the tests commented "the inherent mass of the concrete offers an ideal barrier to sound transmission"
