Power Protection is the only sure way to protect your critical power systems from the sudden loss of power.
Power Protection can take many forms from basic checks to make sure that no sockets are over loaded to full blown resilience of supply implementing N+1 or N+2 Power Protection Systems. Any truly serious Power Protection System would encompass combining an installed Uninterruptible Power Supply ( UPS Systems) and a Standby Generator ( Emergency Power Systems) each of which would be scaled to balance and support both the existing present load and allow for any future expansion.
Always bear in mind that a UPS must never run continuously with more than 75% across all phases, with each of the 3 phases in balance and the similar principal applies to any generator unless the supplied unit states that it can run continuously run at full load at marked on the engine, this is termed Prime Power Rating. So a 100kVA Generator prime power can run at 100kVA for extended periods where as a 100kVA Standby Generator can only run at one hour in any 12 hours at full loading of 100kVA maximum
