Mechanical Services LTD to tell us a bit more about their business and to share their experience of working with Powrmatic. Tell us a little about you, what you guys do, and how it all began? I came from a large heating manufacturer about 20 years ago as a service engineer, one day I just thought why not go self employed give it a go. It worked well for me, with a lot of long hours and persistence I have got to where I am today. On a day to day basis we do a lot of installation work which I enjoy the most, we also carry out service work and breakdowns. How long have you been working with Powrmatic? I have been a service partner to Powrmatic for around 6 years. Why do you like working with Powrmatic? Powrmatic is a great British company, great products and an excellent after-sales service. What does a typical day look like for a heating engineer? Ha, some good some bad but it’s the same for everyone. All in all I think it helps if you enjoy your job which we do. Whats the most useful bit of kit in your toolbox? Got to be the DEWALT stud cutter… Whats your favourite Powrmatic product to install and why? We like the LNVx warm air units, they look the part in the new colours and we can install one normally in a day, but all Powrmatic products are good. What does the future hold for you, and the HVAC industry as a whole? Good question, probably to expand a little may be 1 or 2 extra engineers and just see how it goes really.
