Steed Webzell reports on the latest developments in marking and traceability in the new edition of the UK's leading Machinery Magazine. Significant attention is paid to the new CNC marking tool that Pryor has recently developed.
The tool allows parts to be marked without removal from the CNC station. This ensures parts are immediately traceable, and do not risk damage on moving to a separate marking station.
The tool is a bluetooth controlled and battery powered "Dot Peen" marking machine, capable of applying Data Matrix codes and serialised part information.
