The awards, MISAward2which have been running since 1998, reward the hard work and innovation of those companies that are building on Sheffield's historic manufacturing reputation. The judges highlighted Pryor as an example of history being no barrier to innovation and praised it for re-inventing itself over the years to go from “marking cutlery to marking cars”. They also applauded its recent success in securing major orders for complete robotic marking systems for automotive factories in the UK and China. Pryor was also shortlisted for the SME award and now moves forward to the finals of the Made in UK awards in July.
