Manufacturing Pryor Marking Technology, head-quartered in Sheffield, UK, has joined the National Skills Academy (NSA) for Nuclear Manufacturing to further expansion into the growing nuclear sector. The SME has experienced rapid growth over the last eighteen months, increasing in size by twenty-five percent. This success has been driven by developing new capabilities for both new and existing markets. The award-winning Robotic Laser Vehicle Chassis Marking Cell spurred huge growth into the automotive industry and developments in robotics, software integration and vision systems have advanced Pryor’s already established position within the aerospace industry. Following this success, Pryor Marking Technology is now developing solutions for the nuclear industry. Material traceability is vital in the safety-critical nuclear industry where authenticity and quality-control must be guaranteed.
