Kent has a rich diversity of media outlets that include print, radio and magazines. And marketing is a great way of promoting your company, but have you ever thought how a good news story can help your business profile? Or are you afraid to engage with the media? With this in mind, the IoD Kent Branch are holding a ‘meet the media’ event where you will be able to hear from the media about how they can help your company. They will also help banish some of the misconceptions that there are always after bad news. You will therefore have an exclusive opportunity to talk to the Media from across the County that range from TV and radio to newspapers and magazines. We will find out what makes the News, and why, and what the media are looking for in a story. In addition, the sponsors of the event, Adams Creative, will be there to help you think about the importance of PR and how to engage the media.
