New extension

One of RD Castings Ltd latest and well-needed investments is our new 5000 square foot building extension, which links our: Foundry, CNC shop and inspection area together. The new building is home to two new Brother TC-32B QT machines. Both machines are twin pallet machines with 75 meter a minute rapids, and 0.7 sec tool change coupled with 16,000 RPM spindles and 4th axis. These machines have been installed in our new dedicated machining complex that has temperature controlled technology that stabalises the inside environment. This ensures that the machines temperatures stay constant; this helps to limit the chance of our machines dimensions becoming disrupted. The regulated temperature controls also allow RD Castings to machine to micron tolerances.
