Beam Reinforcing System

The reinforcing beams comprise of two Stainless Steel rods which are keyed into the bricks at each end with the overall lenth required made up with beam Extension Pieces locked together with Connectors. The system creates a large deep beam in the outer leaf with the loads being transferred through to the inner leaf by means of the Redifix Truss System. For more detailed information on the Truss System, refer to pages 10 & 11 of the Specification Manual. After the Structural Engineer has determined the extent of the problem and that the Redifix Beam System is suitable, we would require the receipt of a completed dimensional survey sheet. From this a set of calculations will be prepared on our computer design program stating the depth of the beam required.
