DSE Assessor Training

Posture Group is a leading provider of DSE workstation assessor training courses UK-wide via a team of more than 100 highly experienced trainers. Employers must identify and assess hazards relating to computer workstations and take steps to reduce risks to staff. This 5-hour on-site course on-site at your company will enable nominated assessors to conduct DSE (display screen equipment) assessments in accordance with legislation and guidance. In addition delegates will learn practical steps to improve workstation layout and user posture. Introduction to DSE Regulations outlined Health risks Workstation analysis Regulations detailed (equipment, environment, work routines, eyesight) Seated posture Information and training Ill health management Practical training Length of training Up to 5-hours plus breaks Location: On-site at your premises, or at Posture Group's training centre in Hertfordshire Provision of equipment for the course: Posture Group will provide all the required equipment for the course so that trainees can participate in several different scenarios. Certification: All course participants will receive a handbook, course notes and full certification as a qualified DSE assessor on completion of the course. What a qualified workstation assessor will be able to provide: A workstation assessment for any member of staff in line with the Health and Safety Executive and DSE standards. See outline below.
