Manual Handling Assessor Training Course

Employers must identify and assess hazards relating to workers who perform manual handling duties and ensure proper training is provided. This 5-hour on-site manual handling course will provide nominated members of staff with the skills and knowledge to conduct manual handling assessments in accordance with current legislation and provide the skills necessary to train relevant workers on safe manual handling. The 5-hour course incorporates the following: Introduction to manual handling and regulations Main considerations of manual handling training Manual handling risk assessments Safe manual handling techniques Types of manual handling environment Training others in manual handling Focuses of training - what you need to know Developing your skills Practical training in the working environment Certification: All course participants will receive a handbook, course notes and full certification as a qualified manual handling assessor on completion of the course.
