Posture Group's Improving Posture workshop is a highly-effective, pro-active approach to back pain and RSI prevention at work. It is a group-based series of 3 to 5 one-hour practical sessions with a postural rehabilitation expert.
The workshop series focuses on:
Relative flexibility testing – identifies postural imbalances on every individual
Postural exercises – develops strength and stability associated with a pain-free, upright posture
Postural stretches – corrects muscle imbalances to allow proper alignment
Awareness training – improves sitting and standing posture
All exercises are low intensity and can be done without the need to change into exercise clothing
All stretches and exercises learned on the course can be done at home, without the need for any weights or assistance
The course is provided in handout form to be taken away, ensuring continued effectiveness after the sessions are completed.
