Rubb came up with a solution to house the UK Royal Air Force’s Nimrod MRA4 aircraft is a custom designed Rubb aircraft hangar. This large RAF hangar features a span of 40m and measures 60m in length. It is fully relocatable should the need arise. The BAE Systems Nimrod MRA4 aeroplane is capable of operating in a variety of roles including communications and surveillance support to ground forces; maritime reconnaissance; anti-submarine warfare and search and rescue. Rubb Buildings also offer a rapid erect hangar soultion for the RAF in the form of the EFASS. Rubb's EFASS range of military aircraft hangars, helicopter hangars, storage warehouses and aircraft sunshades are designed to be rapidly deployed and quickly erected anywhere in the world and are fully demountable for future erect, strike and store cycles.
