BOR-8 ANTI FLASH RUST TREATMENT BOR-8 anti-flash rust treatment is a very highly concentrated additive for use in water or water-based solutions, pressure cleaning and hydro blasting equipment. Only 2% of BOR-8 anti-flash will be enough to prevent flash rusting on water blast cleaned steel for up to three weeks. It can also be applied neat to blasted or power tool cleaned steel.? BOR-8 can also be used as a dipping solution to prevent flash rusting on small components that have had the rust removed (e.g. used after non-acid rust removers that leave the surface very clean but do not contain an inhibitor). BOR-8 can be over-painted once dry without the need to neutralise the surface. 1ltr of BOR-8 can dose 50ltr of water. 5ltr of BOR-8 can dose 250ltr of water. 20ltr of BOR-8 can dose 1,000ltr (IBC) of water. ?
