Slip Resistant Decking

Decking options Our hardwood timber decking can be offered with a range of surface finishes and is generally laid with a 5mm gap between boards to assist drainage. Our bridges are supplied with slip-resistant grooved hardwood deckplanks as standard. The deck thickness, width and grooved profile will be subject to our final design layout and the choice of timber species required. Anti-slip options The slip resistant properties of the deck can be further enhanced with a factory applied resin bonded aggregate surface dressing. Alternatively, insert strips formed from resin bound aggregate or carborundum can be incorporated in the deck, with the advantage of preserving the timber's attractive appearance Alternative deck systems We can also offer alternative deck systems including: - Preformed encapsulated safety panels - Steel decking (plate) - Steel Grillage - Waterproof timber decking
