A fully threaded, grade 8.8 high tensile set screw used in a wide variety of applications. Hexagon set screws are versatile fasteners which are fully threaded up to the underside of the hexagon head as opposed to hexagon bolts which are only partially threaded. They are popular because the full thread means they can work in many applications without running out of thread. They can be used with a variety of different types of hex nuts and washers or can be used to screw into tapped holes. Popular in both construction and engineering
