Black EPDM D Fender - 114mm Base x 94mm Height

This non-marking PVC D fender is 114mm wide by 94mm high and has a 19mm wall thickness. This fender is ideal for protecting your boat or other marine vessel from bumps or knocks in the event of impact. The hollow shape allows for the fender to compress under pressure by absorbing and deflecting the impact. Unlike EPDM, this PVC fender is non-marking and will not leach colour onto your boat or other surface. We recommend using a fixing strip (PFDS580) to secure this section onto your boat. To do this, feed the fixing strip through the centre of the hollow ‘D’ and secure in place with self-tapping screws or bolts. You can then use solid neoprene cord for plugging the bolt holes in the top of the D fender. It is possible to fit this section without a fixing strip by bolting directly through the base of the D. We manufacture this product from high quality PVC which is a compound commonly used within marine and industrial environments. This product is around the same hardness (67° Shore A) as the rubber on a car tyre and has an operating temperature range between -20°C to +60°C.
