Black PVC Rigid Fender with Black Insert - 38mm x 18mm

This non-marking black PVC rigid fender is 38.6mm wide by 18mm high and supplied in 3.65 metre length. This fender is ideal for protecting your boat or other marine vessel from bumps or knocks in the event of impact. The rounded shape allows for the fender to absorb and deflect impact. Unlike EPDM, this PVC fender is non-marking and will not leach colour onto your boat or other surface. This fender comes supplied with a black PVC insert to cover the screws or rivets once the fender has been secured to your vessel. Starting in the middle, line up the fender with the gunnel and secure with self-tapping screws or rivets every 225-300mm. For tight bends it is advisable to put wire in the corners of the internal grooves to prevent the fender collapsing and hindering the fitting of the insert. We manufacture this product from high quality PVC which is a compound commonly used within marine and industrial environments. This product is around the same hardness (67° Shore A) as the rubber on a car tyre and has an operating temperature range between -20°C to +60°C.
